The hills of San Francisco are very romantic, undulating, serene yet inviting. The stars sparkle in the the night sky, and the lights of the city and communities twinkle below that expansive sky. So much energy, so much beauty!

Mesmerized, I stood at the window of my rooftop sunroom, watching the stars, the mountains, and all of the activity in the night sky. The airport is to the south of the city, and I would watch the airplanes—traveling to distant lands—climb into the sky from between the hills. It was magical.
