"Skyline, San Francisco" is the magnificent view of this great city from the water, a beautiful length of cityscape including the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge which extends the elegance of the design to the left. Repeating my working motto to "simplify, simplify, simplify", all extraneous details of the scene are stripped away, leaving only the poetry of the bridge and the skyline. With the breeze on my face, my pencil and sketchbook in hand, I was. mesmerized by watching the city emerge on the horizon.
